Wingman Birdz + Brewz is proud to be a partner in the community to many charities and non-profit businesses such as the Blue Mountain Humane Society, American Cancer Society, City Parks & Rec sports teams, Little Theatre of Walla Walla, Blue Mountain Action Council, Walla Walla Sweets Baseball, Downtown Walla Walla Foundation, Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce, National Federation of Independent Business, Washington State Restaurant & Hospitality Association, and other local community members that need help with personal trauma.

In April of 2015 the Walla Walla Dance Festival held a charitable male "tongue & cheek" beauty pageant to name a Mr. Walla Walla. There were 9 contestants in the competition that showcased formal wear, athletic wear, talent, and an interview with a panel of judges. Some of the talent included steer roping a with a stationary steer, ribbon dancing, dancing, and our very own Wingman did a dance routine to the song "All About That Bass" by Meghan Trainor. The stoic expression, paired with the unusual clothing combination and choreography made Brendon Mendoza a sensation of the evening and the year. Brendon won title of Second Runner-up (third place) and it is celebrated at the restaurant in order to tell guests that he does take his business seriously but not himself. You can find a still photo of the dance in the vestibule of the restaurant upon arrival. The event was to help raise money to bring dance into schools.
